I eat books and get eaten by them. It's an uncomplicated relationship.

I'm co-blogger at YA Fanatic as well.

Noughts & Crosses (Noughts & Crosses Trilogy) - Malorie Blackman “You're a Nought and I'm a Cross and there's nowhere for us to be, nowhere for us to go where we'd be left in peace...That's why I started crying. That's why I couldn't stop. For all the things we might've had and all the things we're never going to have.”

The tears had sprung out of my eyes instantly and had drowned my pillow and me . I cried and cried and cried . I had puffy eyes and I looked horrible . The story is so simple if you think about it , yet what you read is burned into your memory and it's all unforgettable and absolutely beautiful .

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman is set in a world of racial segregation . The 'Cross' are the dark skinned masses while the 'Noughts' are fair skinned . In this world , Both these classes simply don't mix . There is a huge social divide between them where the Cross get all the privileges and luxuries in the world while the noughts are left with nothing . Ms.Blackman has done such a fantastic job ! her writing just flows . It's simple and divine . She'll just give you four words and those four words would send your heart aching in a stormy maze and it would ache and ache and ache and cause a heart-explosion . in short , You die .

Sephy and Callum have always been bestfriends .
Through ups and downs and lot's of mischief , as far as they know , they can never be apart . but as they grow old , the world around them becomes harder and harder and one thing is clear , they can never be together , even if they want to because the society wouldn't let them be .

This is one of those books which are so hard to write about ! I want to go to the roof of the tallest building in the world and scream and say 'LOOK PEOPLE ! LOOK AT THIS BOOK ! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'RE MISSING !'
I want to scream and shout and cry . I hate it when things that are meant to be will never be . I hate how some people still look at the world in the same ridiculous way . I hate how people judge others based on how they look , where they live and what they do . I hate the honesty of this book .

This book is a badass comeback to racial divide and segregation .

It was so heart wrenching .
So tear jerking .
So bad . So right .

And this is how my review is going to be if i continue . It's going to be full of adjectives of vivid varieties . It's going to be full of synonyms of Sad and tears . It's going to be full of howling and incoherent-ness .
and that's why , I'm just leaving this at that . I don't know how I can make you read this book . I don't know what to write to make you believe that this book is exceptional and needs to be given a chance .

This book was so tragic that I don't even feel like stepping onto the next one . But alas ! i love it when a book makes me weep . I love connecting with a book and I love tragedy . So yeah , there you go .

Read it and I promise you , that you won't regret .
